A murmuration of starlings

Starlings, Sturnus vulgaris, flocking to roost at RSPB Ham Wall in Somerset. Millions of starlings gather here in the wetlands for safety at night outside the breeding season. Dark clouds of them swoop down to the reed beds as dusk gathers.
