La vecchia tonnara di San Pietro (the old tuna processing plant of Saint Peter's Island).

The island of S Pietro, which lies off the extreme south west of Sardinia, is, at least superficially, a paradise, with clear waters, a wealth of bird and sea life, and the lively port of Carloforte. Evidence of a busy past, however, lies in this disused tonnara, or tuna processing plant, where ruined boats and rusting anchors lie jumbled in the sun.
